# Registering a domain name

For this I will be using [namecheap.com](https://namecheap.com) which is a popular low cost domain name register and it's pretty easy to use.

Search for a domain name that you wish to use and see if it is available. I went with an extension of ".online" as it seemed pretty cheap.

This page simply shows a purchase of the domain name.

Complete the payment then you have bought yourself a domain name!

Check your email as you will probably have to confirm your email address to finalise the registration.
